When planning your project, keep in mind that the cost of installing a new kitchen can be recovered when the home is sold - it's an investment in your home's equity. On average, 91% of a kitchen remodel cost is recouped when the home is sold.* To put that in perspective, a new car will be worth very little after 10 years or when you go to resell it, but a kitchen is worth almost as much, if not more in some markets, than your original investment.

The national average for a mid-range major kitchen remodel is $43,862.*
